Thomas Pruitt Builders: Tom Pruitt's vision for Thomas Pruitt Builders began 18 years ago during his training with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Since then he has designed and built structures around the world, from bridges in Korea to regional and national award-winning remodels here in the Charlotte area.

Certifications & Professional Memberships include:

• Certified Remodeler
  He mastered his craft as the CEO of Olde World Construction, and fine-tuned his design skills at a large Charlotte area company, one of Charlotte's most widely-recognized high-end remodeling companies. Diligent study and broad mastery of the field has earned Tom the titles of licensed General Contractor and Certified Remodeler.
  
• Certified Lead Carpenter
  Tom Pruitt designed an addition for a home located in an historic Charlotte neighborhood. The project went on to win a First Place award in the Room Additions, $100,000 and Below category in the annual Master Design Awards competition held by Qualified Remodeler, a national trade publication.
  
• National Association of Home Builders
  In 2003 he founded Thomas Pruitt Builders with the mission of personalized service to clients, combined with extra-ordinary levels of craftsmanship and quality. He carries out this mission by escorting the client through a unique, seven step design/build process. (See Process section for details on this unique, tailored service method.) The recent staff addition of Ed Stuver as Project Manager brings to the group the skill and dedication of a 40 year veteran craftsman and Certified Lead Carpenter to the group.
  
• National Association of the Remodeling Industry
  His dedication to his trade earned him a coveted membership to both Charlotte's National Association of Home Builders as well as the Charlotte chapter of The National Association of the Remodeling Industry, where he has served on the Board of Directors.
  

He continues to build on his experience with ongoing education in the industry and in the latest design techniques.
